Block, mute and restrict

If someone is bothering you, use the "…" on their profile or post. None of these notify the other person.

• Block: they can't see your profile or posts, or message you.
• Hide (mute): their posts stop showing on your Home. You still follow them.
• Restrict: their comments are visible only to them, and their messages go to Requests. You can read without a read receipt.
• Limit interactions: for a while, pause comments and messages from people you don't know.

Lists of blocked and hidden accounts are in Settings → Safety, blocking & reporting. To hide posts and comments with certain words, use Settings → Privacy & audience → Hidden words.
