Age groups and teen defaults

Your age group comes from the birthday you gave at sign-up (Settings → Age settings & supervision → Age group). For accounts aged 13–17:

• Notifications pause at night
• Only people they follow can message them at first
• Personalized ads aren't used
• They never show up when people search by email, even with that setting on
