Teens and parents

Accounts of people aged 13 to 17 get safety settings automatically.

• Notifications are paused at night (always on for teens).
• At first, only people they follow can message them.
• Settings → Age settings & supervision → Parental supervision links a teen's account with a parent's: the teen makes a code, the parent enters it, and the teen approves. Either side can end it anytime.
• A linked parent can see who the teen follows and who follows them, time spent, and who they talked to in the last 7 days — never what was said.
